What “Hand Picked” Means
We hope everyone who receives a gift through The Ohms Way discovers something new to love. By connecting people with thoughtful products and the stories behind them, we also hope to help strengthen and grow our communities.
Every item we choose is hand picked with that purpose in mind.
How it Works
· You choose the theme that best suits the person or people you are wanting to send the gift to.
· You are able to add to any gift if you would like so that you can customize to make it more personal. If you are shopping with a specific budget, you can align the gift to match.
· In each gift, there is at least one item that can be personalized, or have your logo added. There is a minimum order to have the item branded, but we are happy to make the one gift you need now and store the rest of the branded items for future gifts or send you the remainder from the minimum.
· As all items come from different suppliers, minimums can vary, but we do many of the personalization in house so we can keep as many minimums as low as possible.
· What you see on our site, we can do in a pretty timely turn around and if you have any questions, we are here to help.
· In our travels, we have found so much stuff that is Canadian made that no matter what you are looking for, we got you covered. We have sourced out local artisans from across the Lower Mainland in order to find you that unique gift you are looking for. Just reach out and we can show you all the options.

Supporting Canadian businesses has always been central to The Ohms Way. The companies we work with must be operating in Canada, and we want to have a real person we can speak with directly.
That personal connection is important to us. It helps us understand the people behind the products and gives us confidence in the businesses we recommend.
We Look Locally
We visit farmers’ markets and local manufacturers to discover what our neighbours are creating. Along the way, we have been delighted by the incredible talent, creativity, and artistry found in communities across Canada.
The products we select come from Canadian makers who create with care, passion, and purpose—often while building a dream of their own.
We Verify Authenticity
Being Canadian is more than a label. When researching branded merchandise, we were surprised by how often companies presented themselves as Canadian while operating elsewhere.
In some cases, we discovered this only after beginning the ordering process. If a company could not provide a clear Canadian connection or transparency about where its products and shipping originated, we moved on and continued searching.
We take the time to ask questions so that the products we offer genuinely align with our commitment to Canadian businesses.
We Curate with Intention
Once we have found the right makers and products, we select items that are useful, meaningful, and enjoyable to receive. We look for products that reflect care, quality, local value, and the unique character of the people who made them.
